Philodendron Gloriosum is the best option if you want to experience a truely tropical atmosphere in your urban jungle. Highly coveted for its exquisite heart-shaped leaves, which are gilded in a velvety sheen and have striking white veining. With proper attention and space, the wide, velvety leaves of this houseplant can spread to a whopping 90 centimeters.

Since the Philodendron Gloriosum spreads rapidly, it can be used to cover any empty spots in bookcases or on display shelves, though works just as well as a floor standing specimen when it gets larger. The Gloriosum Philodendron, like all Philodendrons, is exceptionally low maintenance and mildly tolerant of neglect, making it a fantastic choice for first-time plant parents. However, if you want it to stay looking perfect, you'll need to provide it with adequate humidity and a source of bright indirect light.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Philodendron Happy and Healthy.

Light: Medium to bright filtered light for best results. 
Water: Allow the soil to dry out two-thirds between watering. Prevent prolonged dryness or overly wet soil. Be sure your planter has drainage.
Humidity: Average room humidity is sufficient, though for best results humidity higher that 50% is ideal.
Fertilizer: Use a well balanced organic fertilizer once a month from spring through summer.
