Cherry Cordial Fig

Cherry Cordial is a fig variety named for its sweet cherry flavor. The figs are usually full of honey and very juicy. With a soft black skin, Cherry Cordial figs are great to eat whole, right off the tree. When left to dry on the tree, the figs take on an intense raspberry flavor. Allow room directly in the ground for this fast growing variety. The trees have mostly single lobed (spade) leaves and will grow drop-shaped figs with black skin and red pulp.

When do we ship cuttings?

Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):

We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.

**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.

Rooted Cuttings(Spring):

We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
