Elevate your holiday spirit with our Abies Nordmannia 'Nordmann Fir' Bonsai seeds! Perfect for Christmas tree enthusiasts and bonsai gardeners, these seeds offer the opportunity to cultivate your very own bonsai tree from seed.

Germination rates are lower than usual, often less than 60%

instructions:

We recommend using the following to sow the seeds:

  • 12 Cavity Greenhouse or Planter with Humidity Dome
  • Soil Pellets or Soil Pods
  • Liquid Fertilizer

Commonly grown as Christmas trees, these also make a great bonsai tree variety. To plant, stratification in a fridge for 2-3 weeks can help, then put on a heat mat at >70F in a greenhouse. Monitor the soil in the greenhouse to make sure it remains moist(check about 1 a week), and add water if needed.

(Find more info on germinating seeds by going to our seed guide)
